- Built from public menus. You don't have to send me anything.
- Every price in it is printed on a menu. Nothing is guessed.
- It shows the price side of DoorDash. What you actually keep is in your payout statement: send one month's and I'll work out the real number.

This is what one section of the report looks like, for a made-up burger place. The shop and the numbers below are made up to show the layout. Your report uses the dishes on your own menu.
| Item | Your price | Nearby middle | Read |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cheeseburger | $9.49 | $11.25 | Under |
| Bacon burger | $12.99 | $12.75 | In line |
| Fries (regular) | $5.49 | $3.99 | Over |
| Chicken tenders (3) | $8.99 | $10.49 | Under |
The menu shows the markup. The statement shows the rest.
A menu can tell you how much higher your DoorDash prices are than your counter prices. It can't tell you what DoorDash kept. That is on your payout statement, and it is usually more than the commission.
Amore Pizzeria, Zionsville, 2026, added up from my own payout statements. One shop's numbers, not an industry average. Yours will be different, which is the point of checking.
About 25 points of that was commission. The rest was advertising and discounts I was paying for without adding them up. None of it is printed on a menu. If you want your own number, attach one month's payout statement to the form above, or forward it to intake@keepthedough.com, and I'll work it out and email it to you.
What I build for restaurants: next week's order, written for you.
Next week's vendor order list on your phone, written from your own invoices, plus your food cost from the same invoices. No par levels, no recipe mapping, counting optional. It runs at my shop every night.
The first 4 weeks are free. Founding price for the first 10 shops; $199 a month after that. Works with any POS.
I go through your real DoorDash, Uber Eats and Grubhub statements with you and make the changes on your accounts.
Done with you on a call, anywhere in the country. In person if you're near Indianapolis.
